We also discussed some possible assessment and measurement protocols. When using fitness tests make sure that the VARTEC protocol is considered

Muscle Focus: Back extensors. Objective: Strengthen the back extensors, glutes, and hamstrings. Increase spinal mobility
Fascia is a network of connective tissue that surrounds structures and organs throughout the body. It acts like a “spider’s web” of fibrous tissue that provides structural support. Healthy fascia is flexible and stretches with the body.
Although not a traditional Pilates exercise, Down Dog is sometimes included in a Pilates class.
In Pilates we could also call this Quadruped Superman

Homework

  • Continue planning Preparation – adjust your plan based on feedback received from your practical delivery
  • Identify a client for your 1:1 consultation. Ensure the client is within scope of practice.
  • Start planning Main – choose a range of exercises which have a logical flow.
