Wishing everyone a lovely bank holiday weekend! Please note that there is a balance class on Monday morning in Braunton, but all other sessions are cancelled on Monday while our instructors enjoy the break.
We may not be as responsive as usual, as Anita is spending the weekend camping in a field near Chepstow, with some people who are very special to her. Shame the heatwave is ending.
Enjoy your weekend, whatever you choose to do.

Monday morning walks are really good, and it is lovely seeing how the park changes with the seasons. The blossoms are out just now so every Monday is a pleasure. What a great way to start the week! πŸ‘πŸŒ³πŸŒΈπŸŒΌπŸŒž

Love our Monday morning walks and my Wednesday and Friday exercise classes, life would be very dull without them ❀️

Lighter evenings and better weather (we hope), means that we are bringing our inclusive Nordic Walking sessions to Tuesday evenings.
Come and join us for a walk that becomes a workout as you learn the technique that gives the poles the power to take pressure off of your knees and hips, engage your core muscles, tone the upper body and work your heart and lungs. Our walks are led by specialist instructors who are qualified to work with people living with, or wanting to prevent, a range of health conditions. We will lend you the poles, activities are tailored to the individuals in the group and nobody gets left behind.
Β£6 a session, meet outside St Johns Community Centre (next to Rose Lane Tesco) at 6pm.
Contact us for more info or to book - what a lovely way to spend an hour on a spring evening.

The Vista team is passionate about the benefits of physical activity, and committed to making safe and effective movement available and accessible within our local communities.

The evidence in favour of physical activity in the treatment and prevention of many diseases is very strong, with new evidence emerging all the time.  However, some people, especially those with long term medical conditions, need support to develop a more active and healthy lifestyle – and Vista Wellbeing can help!

With socially based physical activity at its core, Vista clients can access specialist and peer support, thus reducing social isolation in addition to increasing health and wellbeing and maintaining independence.
