- Practical delivery of your 6 exercises for Main with feedback
- Using a planning grid to drill into some of the exercise detail
- Teaching skills using the ladder of progression
- Methods of instructing with a focus on “add on” and “layering”
- A quick recap on special pops (focus on pre and post + older adult). See two videos below. Remember you will NOT be diagnosing a diastasis or working with anyone who has an abdominal separation. It’s just for information.

- Risk assessment using the 5×5 plus the ICO and registration
- Stretching types: static, dynamic and ballistic. Preparatory short stretches, developmental and maintenance stretching.
- The theory behind stretching (the stretch reflex, muscle spindles/stretch receptors, GTOs)
- PNF stretching and how it works (reciprocal inhibition and autogenic inhibition – also see video below)
- Planning for close – 3 Exercises and all the mandatory requirements
